"A
number of years ago, during a particularly painful illness, I read my
first romance novel. Its magic lifted me out of my suffering and I was
forever hooked. Who wouldn't be impressed by such potent, drug-free
relief? Since then, I've enjoyed countless romance novels, had seven
of my own published in New York, and discovered that writing them is
just as much fun and reading them." Gail

Good dialogue and interplay between characters, very natural and easy.
The book is lighthearted and entertaining. The author's love of nature
shines through in her descriptions of the scenery. Good humor and the
romantic flair make the reader wish this story would not end. When Vanessa Walsh promises her editor, Teddi, that she will not become involved with the man to be interviewed for the bachelor-of- the-month magazine column she's writing, she hasn't yet met handsome, charismatic Barret Madison who will be its subject. Determined to be coldly professional, she journeys to the wilderness park Barret is desperately trying to save from destruction. Soon, however, she finds herself not only falling in love with the park but also with the man himself. Haunted by her promise, Vanessa tries to deny her feelings. Breaking her word would be bad enough if Teddi weren't her mother as well as her editor!
"An adorable, touching story
that will have you wishing you were there. The surroundings are created
in such detail you can visualize every acre. The emotions and turmoil
will keep you turning the pages."
A former biker turned stunt pilot who has every woman in town swooning after him, handsome, charming Jake Bishop was exactly the kind of man chartered accountant Carol MacIntosh needed to spice up her carefully planned, down-to-earth life. And exactly what she didn't want.

content to leave it that way. Until February, when Toronto newspaper
reporter Mitch (Michelle) Wallace arrives and decides he'd make great
story material. With dogged determination, Mitch sets out to meet the
man and uncover the secrets of his veiled past.
